What is WÖYH FIGHTER II?

WÖYH FIGHTER II is a free 90s-style arcade fighting game you play right here in your browser — no download, no account. It was created by Finnish creative and developer Peki Sinikoski as a homage to the band WÖYH!, with original music by Antti and Jussi Hyyrynen. It is the first video game made for a Finnish band that works on both desktop and mobile.

How do you play?

Pick a fighter, then beat every opponent across the campaign. On a keyboard:

  • ARROW KEYS — move, jump (up), duck (down)
  • D — punch
  • A — kick
  • S — defend
  • UP + A — jump kick (jump, then kick in the air)

On phones the game shows on-screen touch controls — a joystick plus KICK, PUNCH, and DEF buttons. Push the joystick up and tap KICK for a jump kick. Play in landscape.

Does it work on my device?

Yes — WÖYH FIGHTER II runs on desktop, laptop, and phone. On iPhone and Android you can add it to your home screen to play fullscreen without the browser bar. On desktop and laptop, sound and music can be muted any time with the buttons in the bottom corners; touch devices skip those on purpose, so use your phone's own volume buttons instead.
